Strategic Communication
Elevate Your Institution's Profile
We provide Issues Engagement, Stakeholder Engagement and Reputation Management with your all your key audiences, both internal and external
Our team works with senior client management to plan, shape and deliver effective Strategic Communications strategies.
We help our clients put in place actions and procedures that will build and shape key stakeholder relationships. Communications processes are central to that success. Media relations, including interviews and placed articles, may provide valuable underpinning for any Strategic Communications programme. But other patterns of communication – for example, speeches and presentations, social media engagement, targeted correspondence, planned networking, corporate literature and professional institutional engagement will all contribute.
Chelgate works with its clients to plan and implement ongoing relationship management strategies.
We also recognise the importance of critical issues identification and management. There may be internal issues to manage or external issues – government policies, social and economic developments etc, where it would be to the client’s advantage to engage, either to influence the issue’s outcome, or to establish corporate positioning and visibility. We work with our clients to identify these issues and implement appropriate engagement strategies.
Training
Chelgate offers a range of specialist training services in media relations and communications, adding to the existing internal capabilities of organisations. We also provide training for leaders and spokespersons in media relations. This can be of two types: general training and skills development in the management of media interviews and specific rehearsal/preparation in advance of identified interview requirements.
